Default zex nitrous

i have a d16y8 with the basic bolt on's.i also have a obd1 ecu that is chipped.i would like to run nitrous but i heard that is not a good idea to run that with a chipped ecu.but i heard zex is the safest and it has a controller that will fix the a.f. mixture to run the nitrous saftely.i need some more info on this before i lay down the coin to get the kit. thanks

ZEX won't necessarily create a good a/f mixture, but if it detects a bad ratio, it won't spray nitrous. I sprayed a stock B16 with a 75 shot and advanced timing (bad) with no problems. You should be fine with at least a 50 shot. What program is your ECU chipped with?
