we've used it several times on 88-91 cars. It works fine, a little rough to tune bc it doesnt have datalogging so you have to use a dyno otherwise you would be lost trying to street tune. The turbo B16 map Bill from Zdyne has (440cc inj) is fairly close, we had to lean it out a little down low and richen it up a little up top but nothing major, we had the car fully tuned within an hour and it made great power. The system is very reliable, which is no doubt since its essentially a stock ecu/calibration concerning low load and cold start etc.

http://www.pgmfi.org and look into TurboEdit. Alot cheaper than Zdyne... because its free... just requires a chipped ecu.

If your OBD-0 get the Zdyne. We've used it for years and sold/tuned 100s of cars with it . Yes no Data logging , so you need a boost guse and wideband to street tune.
Id your OBD-1 Go Hondata.

Ask your tuner what they like to work with... if you trust them to tune... go with their preferred option.

Nah,if you get something like zdyne or turboedit,bre,etc..you dont need the fmu..I was going to get zdyne also a while back but I couldnt find a tuner in my area.

zdyne is the best for obd0 cars. But since obd0 is a thing of the past, tunning has moved on. The only bad thing about zdyne is finding a tuner. Im in the same boat i just moved to the VA beach area and cant find anyone to tune mine up here.

The zdyne is pretty straightforward to tune, but I highly advise converting the car to obd1 and using something else. The lack of data acquisition of any kind with this system means that you are constantly guessing the current load cell, current IAT/ECT/Ignition Advance, etc.. This alone means that getting a repeatable starting point for proper tuning is near impossible. The open loop support does not work properly either. I've sold the Zdyne SECU units for many years, and have tuned them the whole time. Currently, if you are going to stay obd0, you don't have much choice, but if you want your motor to run at its best, think about your options first..
