Default i need some tuning tips

so i'm stuck without a tuner because no one wants to touch my US spec stuff here in the UK. my ECU has adj fuel and ignition with a 3bar map. on the bright side, it comes with a baseline map that should work pretty well for the low boost Im running. I'm thinking about just trying to learn some more about tuning, hitting up a dyno and do some tuning my self. where can i get some good info on the subject? Just to give you an idea of the power, I'm looking for about +30% peak tq (nothing ridiculous.)

im not sure who actually makes it. its got a sticker that says "Wave" on it. the company that makes them puts whatever label the dealer wants. in this case, my dealer was Wave Engineering

This is why no tuner will touch your car. Get something that is reputable and works.
