Default zc w/ 14b fuel question

ok homeadeturbo.com has alot of 14b turbo ZC setups, and most of those folks use a ZDYNE ecu. one of the guys w/ this setup is even using the DSM 450cc injectors. im kinda on a budget here and was wondering if i use the DSM injectors and just bought a APEXi SAFC if it would work w/o any probolems. im not planning on running any more than 8 or 9 PSI but dont wanna run to lean and risk blowing something.

There's a guy on here called "zip" who designed a "super map controller," which sells for around $110, which will do what you want. It's not as pretty or adjustable as an AFC, but either will work for what you want to do. They will start throwing error codes around 10-13psi, so anything lower will work. It's better to use some sort of ignition retard, but you can probably get away with manually retarding your timing. You can get zip's "SMC" from diablo motorsports. Another dude on here called "filetofit" makes a map controller for around $21, but it requires some know-how to get it installed and it is a bit less adjustable than the SMC. So you've got three economy options here.
