ZC (sohc vtec) with a CT26??

ok ive herd after like 5500 rmp this thing sucks, is it better to have this than no turbo at all? if i could get one for 45$ shipped is it worth it? could i fix it so my stock zc hf IM works w/ this? will this help me after 5500 rpm or hurt me?
