Hey Guys,

I'm new to the civic scene, now I was wondering what turbo kits will work on this motor & what other parts other than the turbo kit will I need for it to work? Sorry if this is an obvious answer, I've searched all over for an answer. any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Oliver

Any d-series manifold will work although there are minor differences in exhaust port placement. Use the DOHC ZC manifold gasket as a template to reshape the ports of the d series manifold to match. I did this once and didn't have to remove much material. The bolt holes all line up. The rest of any kit should fit just fine with minor adjustments. As far as engine management goes, convert to OBD1 (unless you got the OBD1 ZC alredy) and use a chipped ECU with propperly sized injectors. Good luck with your project!

A D series kit would phyically bolt up the same on your DOHC ZC matching chassis to chassis

I realise that now lol

thanks for the help I guess, why shouldn't I boost my car? I'd like to learn, I assumed this would be a good place to learn.

Any turbo kit recommendations?

check out the marketplace on this forum, there are plenty of good deals out there. Also spend a lot of time reading through the forced induction FAQ and other threads. You will learn a lot just by reading about other's experiences. I have been a h-t member for a long time but don't post much because 99% of my questions have been asked and answered by other people. The search function is your best friend. With that said:

The first thing you should do when asking for turbo kit recomendations is state your power goals and budget......
