zc/d series manifold
i have a friend with a 89 crx si, and he wants to turbo it. He would rather turbo a dohc zc motor, and he needs to know if the manifolds are the same. Should he buy the turbo kit first, or the motor first?

Re: zc/d series manifold (lyleeubanks21)
yes, the manifolds are the same with the exception of you have to grind the manifold on the #4 cylinder a little. takes about 5 minutes

Re: zc/d series manifold (speedworks)
i'm the friend, and im buying the crx shortly...
so if i bought a turbo kit for a 88-91 crx, put it on, then bought the dohc zc motor, all i'd have to do is pretty much port match the manifold...correct?
thanks for the info by the way. i knew that the 92-95 dseries headers worked with porting, just seeing if the older motor was different
