z6 or y8 for boost?

Default z6 or y8 for boost?

Should i build a d16z6 or y8 for boost. im currently running a d16y5 so im obd2..how diffucult is it to convert to obd1 if i decide to go z6?

Obd1 is simple enough, just need a jumper harness and a p28. You can take the guts from the y5 dizzy and put it in the z6 dizzy body so the connectors with match up. Then you'll have to swap injector clips and change the IAC wires for either y8 or z6.
The Z6 has a slightly better flowing and lower compression head. The Z6 also has a better crank/oiling system than the y8. Alot of people have had spun bearings using the y8.

Agreed! Every Boosted and High comp N/A y8 in my area that I know have all had bearing problems.

ya i like the fact that the z6 has two oil ports on the crank...isnt the z6 head flow better too?
