I've been reading on this...and there are some XS-Power knockoff turbos out there apparently.

ZY turbo looks terrible, and they use the XS Power name?

Anyone ever wonder if perhaps many of the XS Power failures are from ZY products or what?

my old setup was about an inch and a half higher than this one... so when I tried using the same IC piping it was too low... I think I'm going to clock the turbo upwards and route my piping through where the windshield wiper fluid bottle sits... I'm using 2.5inch piping on both sides... later Mike

Lol! My manifold, wastegate, downpipe, and BOV (ROFL!) is just sitting here, but I'm not complaining, since I actually made money on this deal (long story). Not to be too far from the topic, but does anyone know if an evo 8 intercooler will fit on an integra without modifications? I'm thinking about buying an LS and just throwing all of this junk on it, because the parts are starting to accumulate a huge collection of different dust particles...

so what is the longest known run time on a XSpower t3/t4 .63/ .57 running about 350hp? If they truly are getting better at their production and tolerances, and the compressors are no longer glued together, they may be getting to be a damn good deal.

any word on what center section parts they use? if garret, that would be pretty freakin cool.

we just got a turbo in for "warranty" repair, running an ssac manifold, manifold cracked, sent pieces of metal through the turbine, $600 garrett turbo down the drain. Saved $XXX dollars on a cheap POS manifold and end up having to pay for a new turbo because the warranty doesn't cover shitty manifolds that fall apart and spray metal through the turbine HSG. Just our first hand experience, take it for what it's worth.

I'm not interested in the manifolds as this wouldnt even be for a honda, I'm going to be putting a garrett setup on my subaru and figured I would at least look into the XSpower knockoffs before I wrote them off. figured you honda folks would know the most about a company like this. j/k, hondas are awesome and theres just so many of ya.
in all honesty I am probably just going to go with a used garrett, turbonetics or precision.

Do you have dyno numbers of this setup running on 20psi, too?

My SSAC Parts:
Manifold (the one which usually cracks) - no problems since install 1 1/2 year ago.
Wastegate (35 mm tial style) - no problems
Blowoff (tial 50 mm style) - no problems
Turbo t3/04e - compressor housing cracked after 100 meters - replaced with a real garrett.

Installed in my CRV Type R Turbo 2000 CRV with Turbocharged B18C6 engine. Not dynoed yet.

you honestly think that is a substitute for reading a forum with lots of people who have a length of experience with the parts?

thanks for all the input people, keep it up.
so for what they are charging for say a .63/.57 trim T3/T4, are they looking like a good buy or not? still a gamble?

Never heard too many good things about them. The flanges like to fall off and the mani itself likes to crack!

No dyno numbers, but the 84mm LS had a stock B18A head, intake mani and 58mm TB and ran 11.3 @ 124 w/ a bad 4th gear on 20psi. Should havr trapped 130mph and broke into the 10s that pass. (ls tranny, 25" M&H slicks, 7.0 @ 101 1/8th and a 1.68 60ft)
