Looks Great. Its now confirmed that an LS-VTEC crx has put down 455whp on the old style ss autochrome manifold unbraced. It was on the car for more than 8 months. Will post pics and a dyno sheet one i get hold of them

I should have bought that one so that I didnt have to expletive with grinding **** down... but I wanted to see if the "twisted ramhorn" style one would give more hp than the original ssautochrome manifold that I had...

on the ramhorn your using, can the turbo be faced with the exhaust on the driver side or does it only fit the way you have it<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by spoon95eg &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">kinda dirty this is a old pic

Just curious...will the old style SSAC manifold fit A/C on a D-series?

well i tried to make it clear as possible, the red lines are where the braces are, you have the standard two in the back, wastegate flange and, right up front and directly behind the front one on the back side

Man that looks good. Please keep us informed on how it performs. Did you buy the ssac downpipe with it?

If anyone wants a deal on Xspower or SSautochrome stuff it me up, i sell alot of there stuff and i will cut you Honda-Tech guys a little break

SSAC has come along way in ther products, We have run there stuff for over 2 years now and never had a turbo fail, wastegate, intercooler, or BOV

The Manifold goes out once in a while but hey they have a lifetime warranty

here is little video of a car running a SSAC Ramhorn Manifold car is on 13 psi with a few spikes to 14psi on the datalogger

http://videos.streetfire.net/h...B.htm

Thanks
Richie

I recently tuned a customer's car on a ssac new style manifold (full-race but braced).
The manifold cracked within 18 hours of use. The whole collector was missing a section....

Default Re: Your SSAC or XSPower Setup! (HiProfile)

freind of mine with a ls swapped eg si with a XS power manifold and turbo went 13.3@108 with that manifold on street tires on FMU never had a problem with exception of the motor frying a ring after a year of hard abuse. i bought the manifold and turbo to use on my b16 setup but ended up selling it to someone else who used it with no problems. soooooo i guess its a hit or miss. i would probably use one for a sohc with a small turbo. isnt the manifold basically like a HKS knock off turbo manifold????
but then again u can get **** liek a CC-fab turbo manifold for just a lil more $$$(a nice one at that).

homemade log mani with XSpower t3 .42/.48 and XSpower 35mm ext WG here. works fine. turbo has over 6k on it with no issues and no shaftplay whatsoever, and the WG has about 1.5k and has worked flawlessly. ran at 11.5psi daily, and driven HARD

ive heard good things about the WG, so i figured id try one out. the only reasons i bought the turbo was because i got it used dirt cheap, i knew where it came from and helped install it, i knew the exact condition, and i knew firsthand that it worked perfect. other than that i would have never bought an XSpower turbo. and i would definately NEVER buy one of their manis

but so far, they both get a from me
