Default Yet another FPR question...

Ok, right now I have the Vortech FMU that comes with the drag kit. I have a FPR that does not need the factory FPR. The FPR has an idle fuel pressure adjustment screw.

So, I was thinking about that fuel pressure mod on theoldone.com, about drilling a whole to relieve some of the fuel pressure. What if I drill a huge whole in the stock FPR so that it cannot hold ANY pressure, but still use the FPR to goto the new FPR that I was speaking about in the above paragraph? Would that work?

I don't have the money right now for an AEM fuel rail, which has the port on the side of the.....you know what I'm talking about.

I just figured if I drill the whole big enough, the FPR won't be able to hold any fuel pressure and just act as a .... uhhh... hole...I guess.

Thanks in advance...

I had my stock FPR with the vortech FMU a while back. It worked fine. Left the idle fuel pressure at the stock setting.

just hook it up, if you need to you can still adjust the idle fuel pressure. You won't be able to go any lower then the stock fpr but you shouldn't need to anyways.
