i just turbo'd my 99 y8 with a T3 turbo me and my buddy tuned it and it runs fine but out of the blue the other day everytime i come to a complete stop it just stalls out. it starts up again its just annoying that i either have to give it gas to keep it from stalling or start it up again when it does stall. has anybody had this problem all my gauges read fine 20"s of mercury around 14.7 on the wideband everything appears to be good i pulled my spark plugs (which are bkr7e) they're fine. i just dont know what the hell is goin on any help would be much appreciated

your probably fowling the plugs... i have that problem after I pull 3rd gear and put it in neutral someting that cause the engine to from wide open to idle...

get your self some new plugs, try going a step cooler

 

What engine management are you using?

Probably Crome, in that case you'll need to raise the moving idle and raise the IACV duty cycle.

 

yeah im using chrome and i have the datalogger hooked up and it works and everything my plugs are getting alot of carbon on them but i pull them out everytime i drive and wire brush and sand them down so i know its not the plugs but the moving idle is already at 1700 but ill have my friend who knows how to tune mess with the duty cycle and see if that helps. thanks alot guys i really appreciate it
