Default idling problem

i just turbo'd my car and now its idling all weird. when i start up my car it'll rev all the way up to 3k and then later on when the car warms up, the rpm will bounce frmo 1200 to like 1800 and it'll just bounce while in neutral. My friend was tellin me something about a missing link, but i don't know how that works, or how to install one?

i drive a 99 civic d16y8. is there a certain missin link i need to get or are they all the same, and once i get one how would i install it ?

i think the first thing you should've told us is what kind of turbo kit you have and most importantly what kind of engine management are you using? i take that you're most likely using an FMU..?

how does it drive? running rich? checked all your vacuum lines?

the missing link helps with the the bouncing and if you have a check engine light on. its either that or you just gotta get it tuned and it should stop.

but id say just try the missing link its cheap and will probably help out a lot

well its running on uberdata, and its running on a td04h with greddy downpipe. and we have tuned it pretty well, when we run it lean in the lower rpm.. it'll start but then later on will sputter and die out but the idle won't bounce as much but it'll still jump around.

and yes i do have a check engine light on

if your using uberdata, you dont need a missing link. it sounds like a vacum leak. check all your hoses on that go to and from your intake manifold
