Default Y8 Head Upgrade Necessary???

I am using using a Y8 head and I wanted to know if I can get away with using a stock head because I was on youtube and saw the speedfactory Y8 that made 447 i believe using a stock head with stage 3 machine work. I will be upgrading pistons and rods using Vitaras and quite possibly Eagle rods. I don't know what compression that combo will yeild but I am looking to make around 400whp on stock sleeves and 350whp or so on pump gas for a daily driver. Will the SC6169sp be too large for a stock powerband or can I get away with revving to 8,000 safely??

Nice. I will have an aftermarket intake manifold (Blox) and a bigger throttle body along with 750's for injectors
