So I'm about ready to build my y7 block but I'm not sure if I want to just keep my y7 head or if I really want to swap to a z6. HP goal is 350-400. if I can get away with just some springs, retainers and a regrind or even a stock cam in my y7 but still hit my goal efficiently then that would be sweet but I can pick up a z6 head pretty cheap and there is a lot more support for the z6. Haven't picked up the turbo yet but will probably be pte 5554. I do plan on going bigger sometime in the future. So if I can buy something once and be able to support bigger goals later I'd rather do that.

Ported oil pump

grams 1000cc injectors
Pretty much got the block taken care of just need am opinion on head. Also this will be tuned on e85 so I still need to do some research on a fuel pump.any recommendations?

Anything can be done but if you are planning on going more horsepower later then do all your upgrades now. Plus, just think of all the chicks you can pick up if you tell them you have VTEC y0!

That's what I was thinking but I just didn't want to take on too many things at once and run into more problems.

If I do decide to just keep the y7 head then would a 272 regrind be good or should I look into a more aggressive cam?
