Would you use manifold????
So i ordered a Rev-Hard forged tubular iron manifold like 3months ago. When it finally comes in they tell me they discontinued the forged iron manifold and this is what replaced it. What do you guys think of it? It looks simialar to the inline pro, is it worth keeping design wise? I guess i will have to drill a hole for the dip stick. Iam tired of waiting and don't want to order another manifold. I guess you can tell it is a cast manifold. What do you think of it keep it or return it?

Re: Would you use manifold???? (simike)
how much did you pay? If i was going to get a shorty style manifold, at the low cost end of the spectrum id much prefer the maxrev or inlinepro manifolds. That one looks a bit rough. the t3/t4 dual adaptability is a bonus, however. I hope the quality of the casting has improved, past revhard manis were a bit rough

Re: Would you use manifold???? (FFgeoff)
I paid $445 for it. I did some searching and read up on manifolds. Looks like there isn't much to gain buy going to a tubular manifold unless your making a lot of HP. It will be a while before i can build the motor and turn up the boost so i guess i will use it. Thanks for the replies any other opinions would be great.

I would use it. It looks rough, but so did mine. It looks like you can use a T3 and T4 exhaust housings so you can start off with a t3, then when you want to go bigger you can and upgrade a t4.

Re: Would you use manifold???? (BG Boost)
Looks shity IMO. U have to drill a hole for the dipstick? That should already be done for you. Plust it looks super heavy.

I say keep it. You know it will take a while to get rid of it and get a different one, and what you have there is pretty nice.

Re: Would you use manifold???? (TurboSedan)
keep it and ask for your money back when because you are tired of waiting for the tubular one. when they ask for it back tell them no. You don't have to. if it was adressed to you it is your property whether you paid for it or not. If it busts buy the one you want, you won't be out anything.
