Would this be too Restrictive???
I was wondering if i ran a 2.5in muffler and 2.5in catback, would it be too restrictive with my setup. Setup consist of revhard mani, t3/t4 turbo, 440cc injectors, custom fmic, tial 38mm WG with a 5.8psi spring, 2.5 in dp, 2.5 in carsound cat, hondata s200B, and a walbro 255lph fuel pump.

That is almost exactly my setup and I have a Tanabe RM catback. I think that is 2.36" pipe and mine pulls really, really hard after about 4400. I have no doubt a 3" DP and a 3" highflow cat with a Thermal exhaust would spool much faster! Can anyone say exactly how much faster?

I had a Tanabe race medallion with a 2.5" DP and no cat and it wouldnt let my turbo spool over 12psi (im guessin all the bends in the 2nd gen teg exhausts) But I just ran a open DP and it spooled at least 500 rpm quicker.

Well unfortunately I am boosting to over 14 psi right now so I dont think I have that problem. If anything I need to get it turned down. I feel it should spool up sooner than 4400 being it is a smaller t3/t4 and a big t04e or sc61 or something. I can hear it start to whine at 3000 exactly but I feel no pressure until 4400.
