Default Would a catch can help?

Well i have a 98 GSR with over 150K. its tuned to 300hp right now and is having some what of an oil consumption problem. after boosting it will have a poof of white smoke out the back and after a couple runs at the track im about a quart low on oil. im just wondering what i can do for now to help the motor out. i plan on pistons and rods down the road but my budget right now means its on hold. so would a catch can/breather help out any? or any other ideas?

Thanks!

doubt it
if you are a qt low that soon. most likely something is busted or leaking and sucking up all your oil

Nothing seems broken. its only done that once. and it has been getting better lately. So im just trying to see what i can do to pro-long the life of the motor. i thought a catch can would take some pressure off the rings. also im getting alot of blowby out of the valve cover when i boost. the bottom of my hood gets drips.

Anything to help?
