Default Which would benefit my setup more?

I currently have a CCA FMIC with rewelded entanks so they look like this-

I have been told having them like that will cause more lag, and I will be running a fairly large turbo, so that will be an issue to begin with. I would like to counter the lag one of two ways-

1) Get a new FMIC and leave the endtanks how they come, resulting in better flow, and less lag.

2) Get a nitrous kit, and run a small shot to help spool the turbo.

This is for a drag CRX that is only driven to the strip and back. Thanks.

Why not air-to-water in a drag car?

the lag shoun't be that bad. You are only running a .48 exhaust housing.

the inlet of the intercooler should be more efficient cuz itll induce the air get an even spread into the core. dunno bout the outlet but shouldnt be too bad.
