I know you already mentioned that you're installing a dumptube... but I can definitely tell you now that when you DO, you're going to feel a great power increase.

I ran into a similar situation w/ my girlfriends del Sol. We had no dumptube for a short time. What would happen is the turbo would suck in the oxygen-less hot air and would be choked. The car made power, but not GREAT power.

I just installed the dump to route under the oil pan, and gained 45WHP immediately. I almost **** myself when I drove the car with the dump, that big of a difference. Good luck.

thanks for the compliments guys it really makes me feel satisfied that my hard earned money and work went into this... anyways the turbo is a borg warner and has a .60 turbine w/ a .70 compressor. I like it, spools nice and sound great... as for the return line it is perfect and I could have asked for it being better.... I wish I could get this puppy tuned ASAP but can't I don't have money

On a good note I raced a turbo SI last night (b16) and he was running 10psi w/ methanol injection and I lost by 1/2 a car so I was pretty impressed seeing that I'm only at 5psi. Anyways here is the mod list for the engine bay....

Wiseco 85mm Forged Pistons
Crower Billet Rods
CP Piston Rings
ACL bearings
ARP Head Studs
XTD Stage 3 Clutch
XTD 11lb Chromoly Flywheel
Rebuilt Stock Head
(A/C removed, P/S removed, All EGR and Emissions stuff removed)
Borg Warner GM8 Turbo
SPF Manifold
3" Downpipe
3" Straight Piping Side exhaust
2.5" Intercooler Piping
31x9x3 Intercooler
Tial 50mm BOV
Tial 38mm Wastegate
3Bar Map Sensor
550cc RC Injectors (I might need 750cc for the power range)
AEM Fuel Rail
Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator
Stainless Fuel Lines
Greddy Catch Can
P06 Chipped for Uberdata
Boost, Oil Pressure, and EGT Gauges

im pretty sure stock f22b2 tranny.

you should be able to get a 3" dp to clear on the driver side no problem with a donut. i have the same mani as bigdaddyvtec (it was actually fabricated off of my car) and it ***** the turbo at an angle like that for AC and 3" dp clearance is ok.

It looks like his mani places the turbo more in the center tpo where it may be a prob.... How is your setup??? Still lovin mine. 3 inch DP, no prob... He would need to try and turn his shail around ya think??? I dont know for sure, but it doesnt look like hell be able to do it how it is...

bigdaddyvtec nailed it... I really don't have much room to turn the turbo around and if I do I would have to redo the downpipe which is more headaches. I am just gonna wait until I put the h23 head on and then I'll do the topmount mani w/ some other goodies....

i see. when mike was making the semi tubular mani on my car we used the cocked turbo idea from from some sfp f22 mani pics i showed him but we placed the turbo flange more towards the pasenger side for dp clearance.

i gotta get my car registered, insured, and crap before i put the turbo back on.

I am REALLY impressed w/ my car... I had some really good races tonight here they are...

Me vs. Civic Si Boosted (10psi, Methanol Injection)
I pulled instantly one car in second gear, but his vtec top end kicked in and came back then once in third I pulled again and again he comes back top end and pulled SO i lost by one car (I was impressed w/ my car)

Me vs. S2K Boosted (9psi 300HP and 200TQ)
We raced three times. First time we raced in my third gear where my torque is weak as hell and the s2k instantly gained 2 cars and it stayed that way through the whole thing... Second race we started in second gear and I got the jump (I LOVE MY TORQUE) and he catches up and pulls and I lose by one car.... Third time we race from a dig and I spin but catch and pull 2 cars and shift to second have even more torque and pull harder and beat him by 1 car (top of my third gear and I am EXCITED AS FAWK)

Me vs. WRX (all sti parts, but a 20g turbo)
Started in second I pull 1/2 a car and keep it until I shift into third and then when he shifts into 4th he just pulled like crazy, lost by two cars [my friend loses to him all the time so I thought I was gonna get demolished because my friend beats me on the highway by 4 cars (he has a 3000GT)]

THOSE races were the highlights of my night. I am very impressed in my car and how it performs. I thought I was gonna lose everysingle race really bad but it turned out really well. I am pleased w/ this car and can't wait to tune it at 20psi (I'm at 7psi right now)
