Default at wits end with turbo accord

hi i have a f22 sohc vtec accord euro 1998 car. car was working well before head gasket swap and head rebuild.

once all put back together timing set 15deg, cam timing set, fuel pressure 4 bar, boost pressure 13psi all as normal.

on the rolling road air fuel ratio down to low 6 once it hits 3500-3800.

i have put an led on the vtec valve and it lights up at 3400k i have powerd the sol valve and she clicks fine. the ecu has been checked and the map is all ok not altered.

every thing is the same is it possible the pin is stuck and not engaging my vtec?

i have spent ages trying everything good spark, same amount of fuel lack of air has to be vtec right? checked throttle its open 100% no blockages in pipework exhaust is fine no collapsed parts hence boost fine.

any help please post cheers max

problem fixed.who ever put my head back together at the shop left out the 1/8th bsp plug thats on the feed to the cam shaft this caused the vtec not to engage and oil pouring out under rocker cover. to say i was not impressed was a understatement.

Glad you fixed it. Hopefully no major damage occurred to your accord

i was worried that oil starvation may have happened to the rest of the engine and turbo while this was going on. i think the ports are so small that this could not have been the case. well i prey its not the case. cheers max
