Shitty picture but you can see the AEM 5 bar mounted to the firewall in a little loop. Cost like $0.29 to mount and has worked out very well.

This winter I will be switching to a steel braided vacuum feed to it as I had an issue w/ a cut vacuum line this last season mess with me for a little bit, so that is another recommendation I can give as well.

so you ran a vacuum line from the map sensor on the firewall to the tb? how did you connect the vacuum line to the map sensor opening on the tb and the sensor?

The map sensor is fed off of a vacuum source off of the back of the intake manifold. I have the vacuum line attached to it w/ an 1/8" NPT Female to Hose Barb adapter that came w/ the map sensor.

If you bought it used, any hardware store should have that adapter.

ok, so you just fed it off the little nipple on the back of the intake mani, easy enough, yeah i bought it used so ill have to go to the hardware store and pick up the adapter. so i take it you just left the stock map sensor on the tb?

Correct. It's just there to plug the hole.

Mount it one of the hardlines on the firewall and zip tie the snot out of it ..

Like others said .. run a barbed fitting on the sensor then vacum to a 1/8 nipple on the manifold.. connect with a vacum linie..

As for wiring .. wire it up like a 3-Bar...

only bumping this to enter in some info that i couldn't find or read wrong answers.

when going from a GM 3 bar to an AEM 5bar....swap the B and C wires around. Do not wire the sensor A-A, B-B, C-C because it wont work Reverse B and C

Thank you.

Like this but reverse B and C. B would connect to Yellow/Red and C would connect to White.
