Default Wires ripped out of plug on boost controller, what to do???

The wires that come from the boost controller ripped out of the plug that attaches to the plug for the valve. It doesn't look like I can just pull the plug apart and put them back in, so can I solder them back in? Or cut the red and black wires to just directly connect the wires together with electrical tape or solder the, either way? Any Ideas, thanks.

You can buy almost any eletrical plug and new pins for it...just have to figure out which one you have and the pinout for it. If you can get the pins out without damage and know where the wires go, just solder them on and clip the pins back in. Or just solder them together when you install it...

^^Your last comment, are you saying just solder the wires together directly, cause that would be easiest

You could just solder the wires together, but then you could never unplug it.

I would just go to the junkyard, and find any two pin connector. Cut it off, leaving like three inches on either side. Then just use that in place of the plug you currently have.

You could also use male/female electrical spade connectors.

yes thats what I meant. You can find all sorts of 2 wire plugs for sale at electronic supply stores too, if you want it to look a little more professional. like these;

go to radioshack and get some male/female connectors like this one, they come with pins...

you can crimp the wires into the pins with needle nose, but i would put a little solder onto it just to be safe. the pins slide into the connector easily and lock into place by themselves.
