winter project, motor build up - help
1st gen b16a, completey stock internals. I was thinking darton sleeves, je 9.5:1, and eagle rods? Or Crower? What bore?
Should I maybe swap a 1.8L block? 2.0L block?
It's not a drag only car, it's daily driven in the warm months. Want to retain the cars drivability, so don't want to add too much weight up front.
some advice and thoughts would be great on this!

I'll help you since most people are ignoring it since you shoulda searched
I would say for the bore it depends what your setup is. 1.6L can still be made to make power, but 1.8 and 2.0+ are good too. Its totally up to you. If you sleeve it doesnt matter if you have a B16A or not, the sleeves can be bored out to a different size. Here is what I would reccomend if I was you:
Darton/RS/GE/Benson Sleeves (Your choice they all are good)
Cometic Headgasket (If you go with larger bore you probably will need a modified gasket)
JE/Arias/Wiseco/CP Pistons (I have JE but I like the design of the CP. I would reccomend a compression ratio like 9.5:1-10:1 although some will tell you go 9:1. I think the benefits of a higher compression mated with a good standalone outweigh the lower compression ideology)
Eagle/Crower/Manley/Pauter rods (Eagles are good, but for rediculous power I would go with Crower or Pauter)
OEM Bearings (might need to get rod, main, thrust, depending on condition)
New Oil Pump (Debatable)
New Water pump (Debatable)
New gaskets (If needed)
Hope this helps a bit. Most setups have to do with power goals, money restrictions, time and somethings are debatable (some will say do it some won't) Good luck to you.

Not that im a hater of the 1.6 (since thats what i have). But if you are going to sleeve the block you might as well sleeve it for 83 or 84mm since your gonna sleeve the block anyways and replace the pistons. It costs the same and will ultimately get you more power in the end at a lower boost.
A 84mm block with a b16a stroke with a nice turbo setup will get you very good numbers. Lisa Kubo used to have a b16a block, sleeved to 2.0 or 2.1.
