Will Prelude Injectors Work
Got a question, in a previous post that I had about injectors, it was suggested that the injectors out of a 97 prelude with vtec would plug right into my car, (99 EX) meaning the wire harness and the o-rings and such would just pop right in, and would be a more powerful advantage since I am going boosted. Can anyone verify this information because someone on here is selling a set at what I believe is a decent price...the other question is that would I need to run any kind of resistor box or anything?? Or will they just pop in. Thanks in advance.

I believe Prelude injectors are saturated vs the peak and hold type that d's and b's run & require a resistor box.
Someone will post after me and confirm this.

Re: Will Prelude Injectors Work (spectacle)
Ok thanks for the info because that's what I want to avoid...please someone confirm this information to make my conclusion final?

Almost. Prelude injectors are peak and hold which require a resistor box unlike saturated injectors which B series come with stock

so being that the 97 Prelude that the OP referred to is a 5th...the 'lude injectors should plug right up...
?

But 97-up Preludes are OBD-II correct? So then he wouldn't need to worry about the clips. Also the Prelude injectors are only 280cc which is 40cc's more than the what you have now. Just thought I would let you know. Check out this link: http://s12.photobucket.com/alb...lude/ They should be good for up to about 224 HP.

I didn't see 310 on the website I posted but I did see this:
1992-'96 Prelude VTEC Peak and Hold 345cc

Re: (genocide43110)
i think ur right...heres what i searched...
obd1 h22a1 345cc = peak and hold injectors (need resistor box)
obd2 h22a1 345cc = peak and hold injectors (need resistor box)
obd2 h22a4 290cc = saturated injectors
I heard though that 345 flow like 310cc....but im guessing because they are not meant to max out...who knows! haha

Re: (iBrandon)
I don't mean to thread-jack but what would happen if I ran those injectors with my set up which is an H23A1 in a 1993 Prelude? Would it feed to much fuel? I plan on running an FMU because that is one of my only options. Every one says that 240cc isn't enough. Would they work ok or would I need something like a S-AFC? If I would need a S-AFC then I would just get some 440's.

If you could run anything but FMU i would...FMU is just not as reliable....a simple ecu tune on crome would be great if u can afford it...that would be the cheapest in my opinion over the FMU...
BUt if not...run the fmu...and go easy until u can rom tune

I was talking to Xenocron about chipping a P06 I had and making a basemap for my setup and he said that it might not work with my auto TCU. So I asked and basically everyone said I was screwed. So I decided to go with an FMU because it was cheaper. I paid $32.61 for the missing link shipped and it was new. Now I just need an FMU and I'm going to be almost ready.
Edit: I just read one of my old threads on HMT and they say I could chip an ECU just not an auto P06. Xenocron is saying to run a P75 which is meant to be run with a TCU which my car has but the civics didn't.
