Will this oil feed/return line kit work?
Ok so I'm in the middle of building my first turbo car, so please bare with me.
I was looking at getting the Stealthmode Performance kit, but I don't like how it doesn't come with an fittings. And it costs more than other kits that do come with the an fittings.
BUT I AM buying their firewall oil line kit, with the correct bspt block fitting.
My problem is I'm not exactly sure how AN fittings work.
I'm looking at this kit on ebay:
Can someone explain to me how to attach those fittings to my oil pan for the drain line? Is it just bolt on? I'm really confused here.
Also, will the 3 foot feed line be long enough to go from my firewall to turbo on a da integra?
Thanks a lot guys!

That made me lol. Do you want bling or function? AN fittings are pointless if there's very low pressure, and if regular barbed fittings will make a more compact setup.
As for that kit: the turbo inlet fitting is probably the typical cheap pot metal (cast zinc/alum), and strips easier than a $2 las vegas hooker. The fitting that goes in the block is probably not the correct BSPT thread, which can leak. Then you have a giant heavy brass cross that will want to crack your block at that point. If you use that kit's small line to connect the block fitting to the cross (mounted on the firewall), it would be okay if the threads are BSPT and not NPT. Then you just get another line from the block to the turbo. 4' is ideal for firewall mounts, but 3' will be okay if you take a direct route to the turbo.
The red/blue fitting in the lower right has a silver plug in the top, that is probably your weld-on fitting. You weld it to your pan, and go from there. A less complicated method is to use an adapter meant for the bottom of the turbo, bolted to your oil pan. A method that's easy and cheaper still is the old JB-weld & an fitting.

Yeah I know that quote was ironic but atleast I'm honest lol.
As for the bspt fitting, I'm getting the firewall kit from stealth which comes with the said fitting. The reason I want the an fitting is because I don't like having to use a worm gear clamp, which I think is ugly.

Man...its a oil line not a paint job and your bitchin bout looks instead of function? Oil line kit isn't even that expensive..why cheap out on something so important for a turbo setup..just for looks...plus who's going to care if you have a pretty return line...anyway if your gonna get this kit...use teflon tape on the threads
