I just installed a JRSC on my '98 GSR. Can anyone on here with a JRSC tell me if there is supposed to be a wierd vibrating/gurgling noise when you let off the gas. I think it's coming from the charger but not sure. I'm hoping it's the air going from boost to vacume in the intake.

 

I never had that. What other mods do you have?

 

Cartech FMU, AEM cold air intake and a Kamikazi header

 

are you running a test pipe with that Kamikaze header? I know that when my freind lets off the gas with his test pipe he does get a gurgling/popping sound.

 

My 97 makes that gurgling sound when decelerating with the throttle closed. It's been doing that since day 1 (15k on S/C) so I wouldn't consider it a problem. I still run the stock cat, no test pipe yet.

 

Thanks guys. No there is no test pipe. Either I'm getting used to the noises or it went away because I don't notice it much anymore. Thanks anyways though! Now I just need to figure out how to stop that tip-in detonation.
