Default Wideband probelms HELP!!

I have a techedge wideband in my car and its starting to act really wierd. For the past couple days when I start the cat its goes from operatting normal to 25.3(all the way lean) I disconnect the sensor to see if it will go away but it will always go from operating normal to all the way lean and stay there nomatter what I do, and I know Im not running that lean. You think it could be a bad o2 sensor? Any ways to check it?
