Default wideband O2 sensor is it bad

How long do they last?

depends on what brand and what sensor.... i have a fjo with a ntk sensor going on 3 years of nothing but leaded gas pretty much and its still reading dead on... i think all the cheap widebands out there are junk compared to the fjo with ntk it cant be beat

I have had my PLX M300 for a long while. I rotate the sensors every now and then and it is still reading dead on as well.

Just make sure you don't get it too close to the turbo and make sure it is mounted vertical.

curious to about this will be installing my aem soo in inst it said at least 18 inches from exhaust mani. does this still apply to the vertical issue, and what exactly happens if it is mounted sideways

Condensation has been rumored to cause premature failure on the aem bosch sensors and they are also rumored to have a short life.I am using the uego but it has seen no leaded fuel yet and not much time on the road due to mechanical problems.

i've got the techedge wideband, uses the 5 wire oem honda sensor(about $280 from honda)

it was used on race gas 3 years, and then about 2 years on a all motor setup on pump gas, no problems with the o2 sensor...techedge display F'd up, but they fixed it for $38
