Wideband o2 placement
I was curious as to where everyone else put their wideband o2 and how you have it set up. I've read and been told many things about being lean or to hot for the o2 and so on b/c of not having it in the right spot and I'm just tryin to get somewhat of a final answer. I have vortech kit 99 Si, My plan was to put a 2nd bung in my test pipe for the wideband (good spot?) So basically in the header would be the primary o2 then in the begining of the test pipe would be the one for the wide band and to the back of the test pipe would be the secondary o2 any help is appreciated . I have the PLX afr/dm5 set up

Re: Wideband o2 placement (Si GUY99)
As a general rule, you can't go wrong with about 18" or a bit more after the turbo, and in the top half of the exhaust pipe. Some widebands can overheat if they're too close to the turbo.

Generally you want it to be 12-30" after the turbine on a turbo setup, but in your case, at the collector of the header or anywhere after it should work well. As stated above, it should be at least 10degrees above horizontal so that condensation can't build up on it. A second bung in your test pipe should be fine.
