bkr7e are good for 400 also, not sure when people switch to an 8 series though

Im pretty sure i'm running 8's with a .28gap at 416whp. Havent changed them since it was took off the dyno tho. Poor thing never gets drove
Doesn't the plug choice depend on the tune also?

I've installed an MSD Pro SS coil and MSD SCI-L ignition controller
I'm looking for the best performance, and street drivability. If that couldn't be possible, i would like to know wich're better for performance an wich for daily driving
I'm also using 950cc injectors and unleaded premium fuel
Are those plugs what're we talking about?
http://cgi.ebay.es/NGK-spark-p...l1116
I've seen somewhere that platinum/iridium plugs are not the best choice for turbocharged b16, is it true?
Thanks!
Pd: what do u think about the denso iridium IK22??

Re: (tony413)
This spark plug is resistor type?
BKR7 plugs are Platinum plugs, is this better than an iridium ones?
There's any problem with the Denso IK22? I already have 4 installed, and i want to know if the BKR7 are better (i know that they're cheaper), because if they're better i'll buy ones now haha
I've seen that BKR7 are one step colder than the stock spark plugs, also the Denso IK22 are one step colder too
Thanks!

BKR's are convention/copper-tip/resistor type plugs, not platinum.

Re: (accord_raffi)
NGK BKR7E-11 or BKR8E-11
What EMS are you running. You can run non resistor plugs which will gain you some more power depending on your ecu.

That's a rip off. They are like $2 each lmao.

Not tryin to threadjack but I think the OP might find this question interesting as well...
It's funny how MOST turbo guys use the BRK's but yet when I tried a new set and gapped them to .30, they made the car run like crap and when I put the Iridium IX back, it basically came to life again (could tell a big difference in acceleration, etc.) - I still wonder why this happened - maybe it has something to do with my tune???

Re: (vantta)
they are resistor, if your EMS responds well to non resistor plugs i would use 4554.
I run those on ectune, never really dynoed the car but the car runs strong and people have got around 20whp and 20torque gains better idle without missfires with large injectors and so on. But you can only run those with select ems (for example you can run them on ectune but not on s300).

I would be the wrong one to ask why on that issue.
