Default Why power wires for resistor box?

I hooked up my resistor box and was just curious to why you run the power wires yellow/black to the resistor box? Those don't send information to the ECU...from what i read you were to take the dead end connector check for continuty from the dead end connector to each injector pull out the four and put them into the resistor box harness and then put the one red wire into the dead end plug anywhere...what's the purpose of that one wire going into the resistor plug? Thanks

As far as I know the red wire is your 12v input......the 4 yellows are you resisted outputs that run to the injectors.

I haven't looked at one in a while though.

The red wire is your 12 volt "node" if you will, and then connected to that are 4 resistors. The yel/blk wires are just coming from the other ends of the 4 resistors.

the ecu actually provides the ground for the circuit.
please correct me if i am wrong.

i think your right. the yellow/black i belive is constant power, then the ecu zaps it with some ground. your going to have to test for cintinuity. just stick one end in the connector, the other end in the injector connecter. its usually gunna look like this
and to your other question, the reason why you wire it to your resistor box is becuase the of the difference in resistance in the injectors. saturated injectors, liek what newr hondas use, are high impedence. peak and hold injectors, such as dsm's, are low impedance. if you wire it up without the resistor, your ecu will blow because of the difference in resistance. the resistor box basiclly balances it out. any1 else correct me if i need correcting
