Why not to use a cracked turbo manifold?
I've heard a few times not to run a cracked turbo manifold because it will blow an engine or mess up a turbo.
Okay, how?

it prob wont blow
thres a chance it might spike.
another thing is you wont build boost as fast or as strong.
lastly once it cracks, tehres a good chance its just going to keep on cracking.

I've heard about spiking.
Would this be caused from the crack being open, then the heat of more revs cause it to expand and close the crack?
