Default Why does the t3/60-1 turbo have the -1?

Always wondered this... why a t3/60-1 turbo has the -1 part in it, why isn't it just called a t3/61? No other turbos are like this... sorry for the n00b question.

By calling it a T3/61 would be basically saying it has a 61mm inducer which it is actually a 58mm. It is a T04B wheel actually and not a T04E also. To answer your question Cody, I DON'T KNOW! Th rest of the T04B family is S tirm, N Trim, V Trim Super V trim etc etc with T04B housings BUT the 60-1 comes with an S cover . Call up Garrett and ask them

Teach me how to use that guide function for our new jobs! Serious!

The 60-1 inducer is 59mm.

The 62-1 inducer is 62mm.

Wierd, but the wheel on the SC60 is the same as the 60-1, but precision lists it as 60mm.
