I've never seen ANYTHING that shows the automatic B16 cams to be bigger than the manual B16 cams. Auto LS cams are smaller than stick LS cams, it's the same for virtually every car maker out there, there is no reason for auto B16 cams to be bigger. And while we're on that subject, he'd be better off to get ITR/CTR cams off the bat instead of moving to GSR's.

A 25% gain in torque at 2000 RPM's and as much as a 30 ft-lb gain in the mid range isn't worth it?

Re: WHP expectations ? (turboEGhatch)
the guy i know barely made 400whp with a b16 and that same turbo at 20psi on c16.
jg edelbrock manifold, equal lenght exhaust manifold, 3" downpipe, low comp b16, stock head. so dont get too excited

u should be able to break 500 on 17-18lbs no problem. i have simialr setup just air to air IC, 83mm motor, no headwork and did 460 on 14lbs (95 degree day no cam gear adjustment)

Re: WHP expectations ? (crazyimport)
Id say 360-410 with your stock cams. To run mid 11's 300whp flat would be more than enough. (as long as your car isnt a pig)

Re: WHP expectations ? (crazyimport)
kewl, if this tells you anything my friend has an EK w/ an LSvtec that makes 400whp. He runs 11.1 or 11.2 i believe with a 125mph trap. So like i said.. 300 and decent driving will still be 11's i'm sure
EDIT: w/ 20psi on a drag kit
and me saying "300" meaning, even if you dont hit your goal for some reason, you should still be in the 11's like your 1/4 goals you have listed

Re: WHP expectations ? (JDM S1eeper)

guy is hitting about 390 whp in his gsr turbo and he's running high 11's on slicks...
so im aiming for 11.5 - 11.9 and im happy
