Meth and water of course. lol I was wondering whos running a meth kit and how do you like it. Did you turn your boost up ? did you notice any differences with it

 

I have tuned a couple of cars on meth injection now.
I was never a big fan of the older kits, however the new kits that are on the market now take all of the guess work out of it.

I can honestly say the stuff works well :-)

 

How much more boost can you usually run with something like that. What are the usual HP gains . I know 20psi is normally the limit on pump gas so if i added meth what could I expect

 

20 psi is not a limit. Psi, in most cases is irrelevant. A little t25 turbo @ 20 psi is gonna put out way less whp than a big GT-42R @ 20 psi.

Remember, detonation from poor tuning blows motors, not the level of pressure that's measured at the intake manifold & MAP sensor. That's all psi is. It's always a good rule of thumb to measure limits of a motor by horsepower.
