I boosted yesterday 7-8psi on a b16a2(second gen)

Suddenly 3 cylinders. Towed my car home.
This moring compersion test.
Cyl 2&3 200 psi. Cyl 1 10 psi Cyl 4 50psi.
White smoke out of the valve breather. White/blake smoke out of the exhaust.

Is this the symtons of the blow head gasket or pistons with a crack.

Blown ring land for sure. Take the head off.

 

i will take the head off how can i check the rings? need to pull the pistons out.

yea, you need to pull the pistons.
That shouldn't have happened though. Were you running it untuned or something? What was your setup?

 

hopefuly your cyclindar walls are not scored too bad so you don't have to drop extra cash to get it bored.
same thing happened to me but 3 weeks after turbo install white smoke coming out the breather filter & dip stick hole, not too bad. car still runs but kind of sounds like a wrx. you can hear one cyclindar loosing some compression. gotta wait for my parts to come this week so i can put together my spare block.
im running fmu untuned ( i know it sucks ) but it was only going to be for a month or 2. i believe it was when my oil pump died out on me 10 miles from home. drove it home ( like a dummy) replaced the pump
10 days later smokey engine.

 

I have a ecu chip.
with retard and fuel etc, 440 injector.
I more ecu guy. I'm making a logger right now.

I have my own chip. My boostcode a little different the uberdata and crome.
I was runnning 1.35 retard/145% fuel 440cc injector
i have boostcut a 9 psi. So the boost never went above 9 psi.

Calvin It was not untuned under boost always openloop. Which was a bug in old boost chips. but mine doesn't have that
