Default white smoke

well heres the prob. my car emits white smoke every so often at idle for a minute or so from the exhaust. what could that be from? i'm pretty sure my turbo seals are blown, so could it be from that or something else. oil level is fine and so is coolant. never did a compression test yet, so could it be a blown head gasket.

thanks in advance

try a compression test....it could just be from condensation from cold weather or it could be signs of a bad head gasket..

maybe your fuel pressure is set to high, my car was putting off a little smoke at idle and would then go away during acceleration. I lowered my fuel pressure reg. and no smoke

Now, does this just happen when you are warming up the car. Because at idle when the car warms up, and with no cat, you will get while smoke from the condensation in the cylinders. Kinda like when you have a ice cold coke and it builds up condensation on the outside of the cup. Well same thing is happening, but the heat is buring it through your exhaust and it looks like its smoking. You did say it didnt do it all the time that is why Im thinking this.
