Whistling between shifts??????

Default Whistling between shifts??????

Everytime I shift my damn car whistles... its not the bov either... set is t3/t4turbo, 550 injectors, uberdata chipped p28, 3" turbo back... ***** annoying... was wondering if any of you guys know what the cause is...high pitch whistling FTL.... thanks in advance Mike

maybe your bov is set too tight and youre getting a little surge between shifts?

It just sounds like your turbo wheel spinning, my friends turbo has a loud whistle, t3 super 60.

its never done it before so i doubt its the turbo wheel spinning.... btw its a vortech bov.... anyone else???? I'll try to loosen it too.... thanks Mike

yeah i dont think its the wheel spinning, because its happening when the throttle is closing between shifts. its definitely something between the turbo and IM.

maybe you sucked something up into the turbine and bend a fin and its causing the noise, most likley not but i thought i would throw it out there

Make sure you don't have any leaks... When I replaced my IM I forgot to tighten the throttle body bolts all the way... It ran for about a week before I got this loud whistling right after the bov would let off and sometimes before....

all bolts are on tight... I will mess with the bov... maybe its got a leak or something.... i dont know... I'll let you guys know when i find out

it was the bov.... adjusted it and now it doesn't whistle anymore!!!!!
