Default where to mount my IAT intake air temperature sensor

Ok done with the dyno on my car, and now im having huge problems with heat soaking my stock intake manifold and intake air temperature sensor in my intake manifold. Every day after driving for about an hour the tune gets all messed up and the car starts running extremely rich. Where is the best place to mount my IAT? People were saying right by the throttle body on the charge pipes but i wanna get some other opinions...Thanks guys!!!

What type of engine is this on, and what are you tuning with?

You might want to retune at a higher engine temp, maybe turn the fan down on the dyno, or do some runs back to back. You may have tuned at coolant temps of 150 or so, and now in the summer driving, you are closer to 190. You dont have any IAT correction, so without retuning it, you will be running like that all the time. S300 or Neptune, ECT and IAT correction owns.

The official Uberdata 1.7 does not support IAT corrections which means it doesn't matter where you put your IAT or even if it works. Now Bigwig did just make a new IAT correction script that can be found on the Uberdata site if you want to try retuning putting that in your bin file.

Yep just add the IAT correction to your files, and you will have it. Just open and then save the file again, and maybe pull some fuel out of the top, by the IAT.
