Default Do these bearings look ok to reuse?

Hey guys--I am building an NA motor, but there seems to be alot of smart guys in the FI forum. I spun a rod bearing on my old motor--and now I am going to rebuild it. The motor had ACL bearings in it (+0.25). I should also mention the motor spun the rod bearing because the clearance on that particular bearing (I believe) was incorrect--the motor only had about 50 miles before the bearing let go!! Now the bearings that survived I would like to reuse. I took some pics of the main bearings--providing they fit do you think it would be ok to re-use them by the looks of things? thanks in advance, Jay.(sorry for the picture quality)

no way! it doesn't matter. never reuse bearings.

If you give a half a **** about your engine the least thing you can do is give it some fresh bearings.

You really think so? I guess your right--bearings are one of the most inexpensive parts that can make or break a motor. Thanks for the reply...

Although, I know some people reuse bearings that look good (especially mains) on moderate mileage motors because they rarely wear much, and the clearance opens up a bit, reducing friction in the motor...

You can measure them and actually figure out how much use is left in the bearings.

IMO if your building an engine right I always change the Bearings, oil pump and water pump. I would hate to spend all that money on a build to have one of those 3 things kill it that I could have replaced while the motor was out.

why are you even asking the question anyway, you already know the correct answer.

go ahead and re-use them if you want. personally, I dont like playing with fire....
