When going boost, what guages are needed?
The autometer A/f is only accurate around the stoich area if using stock 02 sensor but they can tell you whether you are rich or lean just not to any degree, but it helps to know if you are lean under boost! They definitely do show you that, when I had my kit on with no fuel mods I would start boosting and the gauge would quickly spin from rich through stoich to lean, so yeah don't try tuning with them but they can tell ya whether your rich or lean but only the stoich reading will be properly accurate.
Split Second has a nice a/f gauge. http://www.splitsec.com
the leds in their gauge dont blend together like the autometer and they are really bright.

do you guys think the extra fuel guage is worth it? im going to be ordering soon and I dont really have 200 bucks to just "spend" on a guage that i dont really need.
can someone confirm the necessity of the fuel preassure guage?

Well, it is good for diagnosing problems. If you don't want to spend that kind of money pick a B&M one up from Summit. $29.95 for the one that goes in your fuel filter. It isn't as good as having an in-car one, but handy none the less.
anyone thinks its possible to fit four 60mm guages into the glove box?
60/25~=~2.4 inch
2.4 x 4 = 9.6
atleast .5 inch space between them ~=~11.6
I think the glove box is at least a foot long dont you guys...?

looking back at it, i wish i only got boost and egt. my oil pres guage isn't even hooked up because of an oil leak and i'm too lazy to redo it. fuel pressure i could do without also although it's nice to monitor it from inside the car rather than look under the hood.
really? so is fuel preassure a necessary guage or not really?
its going to run me about an extra 200, so id really like to know...

you should have a fuel pressure guage ... whether or not it needs to be defi is another question. personally, i think the b&m one where it bolts up to the fuel filter is good enough.
i'm about to relocate my fuel pressure guage somewhere where i don't need to look at it that often

In the long run, that's what I'm goign to do. Why not treat yourself?
Why should you put yourself through all this crap, just get them all and be happy!
