So i took the honda to bandimere tonight...for anybody that doesnt know bandimere is at 5400 feet above sealevel in colorado. Super super high!

My best was a 13.6 @ 105mph with a 2.2 60 foot. I did this on street tires. I was running 104 octane gas and 15psi boost on a 100% internally stock d16z6.

And for everybody that said i would blow it up...i didnt blow it up. I drove the car there *and* home!! And i made 4 runs at the track...no problems what-so-ever. Car ran awesome.

My other runs were two 13.7 @ 106 with a 2.3 60' and a 16.6 which we wont count because i totally screwed up the launch so i just idled down the track.

With slicks i should beable to do a low 13 second pass here in colorado. At sea level this setup should be good for a mid 12 second pass!! Not bad for a stock sohc!!

nice times. We're gonna slap on my turbo kit onto my friend's civic EX for the last event of the season and this is really encouraging. What turbo setup do you have? Mine is a custom setup with a t3/t4 50 trim

 

I have a custom setup also, with a garret t3/t4 50 trim also. The little d-series motors are pretty strong and can take a large amount of boost.

Just make sure it doesnt detinate...and run the engine nice and rich.
