Ran Again at the track!! (SOHC TURBO)
It was hot as hell on sunday,(100F)
I was trying to make my goal of 11's but couldnt, due to the fact that the guy i normally get C16 from was out.
So i decided to go ahead and run the car on pump gas @15-16psi and see what i could get it to do.
Well here is the slip.
Overall i am pretty happy with the results, and i am real sure that with gas and high boost i can crack a 11.99999999999999
Oh yeah dont pay attention to the reaction time LOL

This was on a small *** set of 20" slicks, that sucked, i had a better 60' on BFG's a couple of weeks ago.

Hahahahahahaha 16 probally isnt the max i can run, i have ran 20psi, but i just dont like the feeling of thinking something could go wrong..
I want to run 25psi and C16 , if i can get my fingers on 5 gallons of it!!! LOL
i am going to give it another shot on sunday i believe, with some C16.

25 psi What's the duty cycle of your injectors @ 16psi ? Think they'll provide enough fuel for 25psi ? BTW, here's my slip with 16psi too. Currently running 20psi which I think will be enough to run an 11's pass but I'm not going to race for another month

Brian,
Good to see you are still here. Haven't heard from you in a while. Keep up the good work. My block should be here soon so I can start cranking up the boost!!!
11's are in reach for you for sure.
If you were close to me, I'd say just use my 24 inch slicks on 13" Volks. They are new since I have ran them yet.
Did you end up getting an LSD?
Brad

Yeah i am still here bro!!
I just got my gas for sunday, so we will see how well the stock Diff, and axels like the extra power!!
Yeah i really would love to use your 24" slicks! 1.7 60' all the way.
I still dont have an LSD, i am a one wheel wonder. LOL
As for the drag radials, i was useing a 215/60/14, with about 10psi of air in them, and a real big nasty burnout!!

Re: Ran Again at the track!! (nouseforaname)
I always cut 1.95-1.92 on BFG's
But what i am saying is that after the 60' mark the BFG's hook up better, and i am able spin the 20" in 2nd and 3rd.
But the BFG's hook up good.
The reason i think is because the 20" slicks are just to small and i build my full boost by the time i smack 2nd, and 3rd.
Does that make since?? LOL

yeh thats makes sense. but its not ur 60' if its gears 1/2. then it is ur 330'.
1.95-1.92 is real good on bfg's I am gonna lower my pressure down to 10psi see what happens. id love to cut those 60's
