im building a 2ltr ls for 500whp. do you guys think that i would need a a main girdle? im not sure what im going to rev to but not less then 8k. this is would be the last part of my bottom end that i need. also is a line bore really needed? thanks in advance.

 

Many make more power than 500 without a girdle. If you decide you want one, an align bore/**** is normally necessary.

 

what make you need one? reving high or high hp?
