anyone wanna guesstimate this...?

lots of power and whatnot I know, but just curious seriously what hp numbers would be needed to trap 130+ in the 1320... opinions welcome?

any replys are appreciated.

hrmm, 450 might do it too....

 

worse case is like 2900lbs and 4.066 gear.

I know fat *** and all but agian thats the worse case situation I think I would see for a honda around here... so those numbers or better at least I would think.

btw if you have some figures in mind from someone or whatnot... fire away.

 

Depends on what car its in...Ive seen sub 2200lb hatchs go 130 with ~415-425whp....theres other variables too..tire size, gearing, etc.

good driver
decent slicks 29x10x15"
decent suspension

this info is from a hp calculator. These are going to change somewhat with different gearing but you get a basic idea of what it takes.

my friends 500whp crx full interior, on 24.5in slicks runs a trap speed of 134mph. He has zero traction though...

Ithink it takes a bit more hp for a 2800 lbs car to trap 130. same for the 2700 lb car..

 

Are you looking for good track times or just MPH bragging rights? 500hp and 130+mph traps are no good if your still running 12's.
