I've built 2 motors in the past with ZERO problems! It seems that there are more Eagle users out there due to economic reasons. However, because of this, when someone has a bad experience it is blown out of proportion. Everyone has to remember there are so many out there, the probability of failures from the manufacture are high and not to mention failures from abuse, bad tuning and things of the like. I would definitely recommend these rods for a 500-600hp street car. </TD></TR></TABLE>

That pretty much sums it up.

I was also shifting the car at 9600.

We have Eagle rods on an LS/Vtec, with the smaller bolts, and we are pushing only 10psi. Needless to say, we were planning on upgrading to a stronger rod because of the bad rep Eagle's were getting. So people are pushing 500HP on the smaller bolt rod? This makes me feel alot safer now.

there is nothing wrong with eagles when it comes to boost for NA try a lighter rod but economic reasons you get the best bang for the buck with eagles for most streetable builds
