The maps I had originally tried were pretty similar to that. They were blundar's maps, but with modified fuel tables that I had tuned on a friend's all motor jdm h22.

Thursday would be the best day for me. Make sure you replace all that ignition stuff before we do it though. We are really just wasting our times trying to tune your car if the problem is something mechanical and not in the tune.

In fact maybe try gapping your plugs all the way down to .028 if you haven't already.

Those jumps between cells are very big, and that's what is causing the erratic dyno sheet. Just takes some time. Good job though.

The part in white is why there is a dip on the dyno sheet. Notice how the timing numbers a much lower than the ones above and below them? And same with the row in red. It just needs to be cleaned up a little. What you dont want, is big jumps in the timing like that.

Yeah your timing is all fucked up. I would get a new uberdata map and start over. If you want PM me and i can send you mine. Mine is for a b16a turbo 9lbs.

I have work Tuesday and Thursday. I just want to get together and fix the map up, I'm not looking to perfect it right now, but I guess I can go pick up some new wires tomorow or something.

Yes I know the timing map looks goofy in that one spot. The original timing map I was using didn't have that dip there, but when i couldn't get the car to run right I switched over to some "tuned" h22 maps to start as a base. At first glance I didn't notice that dip there and i thought he had started out as the same base maps as me.

Alright we did some more tuning today and it still isn't making a difference. In fact bigwig found out how to import the p13 maps into uberdata so this time we were using actual p13 timing maps. Total timing is around 22*. We got the afr line real smooth right up around 11.7-12:1 with no dips. We even regapped the plugs(when i checked them they were at .035) down to .028. We also replaced the plug wires with ngk blues and replaced the rotar in the distributor. It is very apparent that the car is having ignition problems. There are all kinds of little misfires in the graph where it goes reads very lean for a split second that show up on some pulls and on other pulls they don't show up except for maybe 1 or 2 little misfires. I even tried adding and subtracting timing in the boost columns without much change at all. There is definintly something wrong here

Yea it's not making near enough power either. It should fly on 10 pounds.....but it doesn't.

Well I think I'm going to be replacing the wastegate beacuse it's an ssautochrome and it is now running 11 psi, and it should be around 8.5 psi. And I may replace the turbo also because it's also from an ssauto kit, and even though it says 10 psi, maybe it's crappy 10 psi. I dunno. I wanna get a bigger turbo anyways.

But, bump for any ideas.

press the "print screen" button, and then past it into a pain file and save as a jpeg.

he is only using a ss autocrome turbo and it isn't bad. The seals are perfectly fine.

theres a break up in it in 2nd gear and above around 3k or so, i don;t remember exactly off the top of my head. vtec is set to 4500, I've been using this map for about month and a half now, beating the hell out of the car and compression is still 235 all the way so this should be a good start

I don't see how your vtec kicks in at 4500. Mine was about there, and it caused a huge dip when vtec kicked in.

damn photobucket owns me.you have to set vtec lower than the stock point, or its easy to fall out of vtec/your power band, especially on a bigger turbo

Check out his new timing maps. The last column at 10psi is very similar to yours...yet we still are having trouble.
