But I second the carb cleaner, and then let them dry out a little bit... It always does the trick.

Simple green? Are you kidding that will do no good for the plugs might as well dip them in water.
Bead blast them and then spray then blow then out with an air gun. Then spray some carb cleaner on them and blow them out again with the air gun.

My friend has a kick *** plug cleaner at his house.. all air operated... you can't beat it.. but carb cleaner will work to get it running.

I agree. I get plugs for $1 a piece. Screw cleaning them. I replace them with every oil change.
