Hondata's Vortech Civic made almost 500 whp on the stock ignition and went 200 mph. Food for thought...

Your question was brief, but any of these can help you. More info look on MSDignition.com
MSD DIS-2, PN 6211 (2 Channel Ignition)
MSD DIS-4, PN 6215 (4 Channel Ignition)

The DIS series ignitions are for cars with individual coil packs, these won't work on your typical honda. I would recommend the digital 6.

Just curious why you guys think stock ignition is better than msd? It's proven fact that msd has a stronger spark. When you really start making some power a strong ignition really is needed.

not exactly true . stock honda ignitions have proven to be very strong .
When Rado was still racing the Integra he still had the stock honda igniton in and i beleive the wires too .Ill see if i have any more under hood pics of the thing .
They work for alot of people, but i upgraded becuase of the features with mine . i was unsing it for nitrosu so i liked the boost retard and the 2 step .

Honda ignitions are strong, but not as strong as msd. Rado may have had stock wires but i doubt he was running a stock coil. If so then this was WAY back. I have firsthand seen situations where a stronger ignition was needed. Try making 600hp on stock ingnition. It's just too much cylinder pressure. Ignition is more of a safety factor at lower hp levels, it's still good to have though. You don't want a misfire at 20psi and 9k rpm!

So if you go with a MSD Digital 6-Plus, you could throw in a MSD Blaster HVC Coil, right?.
Besides some decent wires, what else would you need?

I like the 7 series. It has a few more nice additions to the 6 series.

DIS. Distributors are old tech and generally suck.

Our new setup consists of a custom distributor and one coil. A better system than the individual coils we had last year. Something to think about....
